This position will be embedded with the Subscriber Forecasting team, part of Peacock's Advanced Content Analytics department. Peacock's Subscriber Forecasting team develops short-term and long-term views on growth of the Peacock subscriber base, leveraging first and third-party data to discern trends in signups, churn, consumption, and other growth metrics. We work with a broad set of stakeholders across the company to provide insights on the success of growth initiatives and develop long-term growth strategy for both subscribers and revenue. You will play a critical role in owning our subscriber forecasting models from end-to-end, with a focus on (1) identifying trends to better inform the subscriber models, (2) conducting end-to-end ad-hoc analysis of subscriber and content data, and (3) reporting out forecasting results with deep understanding of variances to executives.
Responsibilities:
• Become an expert on Peacock's first-party growth metrics data and existing data infrastructure underlying it
• Write SQL queries to generate first-party data sets that are tailor-made for feeding an Excel-based forecasting model
• Become an expert on the operation of existing forecasting models, with the goal of being able to independently tweak assumptions and generate scenario outputs for various stakeholder teams
• Drive insights and ensure accurate forecasting to inform critical business decisions
• Work closely with stakeholders with inputs into the subscriber models to ensure connectivity on needs and reporting
• Work closely with the rest of forecasting team members who are operating and improving forecast models, developing a sufficient understanding of the models' structures to be able to support those functions at times as needed
• Build clean, executive-friendly PowerPoint slides explaining trends in Peacock subscriber growth, both for recurring reporting and more one-off ad-hoc needs

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in relevant quantitative field (e.g. Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other)
• Experience working at a subscription business analyzing subscriber data sets a plus
• Familiarity with subscription business KPIs and metrics (TV& streaming subscription metrics is a plus)
• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
• Proficient in maintaining meticulous records, documenting procedures, and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work, reflecting exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (experience presenting to senior executive audiences preferred)
• Experience in Tableau or an equivalent data-visualization tool is a plus
• Experience with statistical modeling and/or advanced data science techniques is a plus

Salary range: $65,000 - $95,000
