Story Coordinator - Temporary/Per Diem
Overview and Responsibilities:

INSIDE EDITION, television's longest-running, top-rated, and most-honored syndicated newsmagazine, is seeking a temporary Story Coordinator to join the team! We are looking for a Story Coordinator who has a passion for news and entertainment to be responsible for researching, booking, and collaborating to ensure seamless story coordination.

This assignment requires being on-site full-time at our news bureau in Culver City.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Conduct detailed research to identify and develop news and entertainment stories
• Book guests and coordinate interviews for various segments
• Handle heavy phone calls with professionalism and efficiency
• Utilize computer skills to manage databases, schedules, and other relevant information
• Maintain positive relationships with industry contacts and sources

Basic Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in broadcasting or journalism, including internships or related coursework

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills, inclusing proficiency with Outlook and MS Office
• Knowledge of iNews preferred
• Excellent communication and people skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $25.0 - 30.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
