Overview & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and systems, and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for end-to-end payroll process for weekly and biweekly union and non-union payrolls
• Audit and reconciliation of HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
• Ensure employee tax set up is compliant with federal, state and local tax regulations including multistate taxation rules
• Audit payroll documents to ensure compliance with SOX requirements and company policy
• Provide support on testing of system updates and projects including creating test scripts, running payroll processes, identifying and resolving errors
• Ensure timely and compliant response and set up of employee garnishments
• Provide ad hoc reports to management and other internal stakeholders as needed
• Ensure that all record keeping meets organization and legal requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional business partners in Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Technology
• Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding payroll issues, policies, and procedures
• Special projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a large multi-state environment
• Ability to interpret union contracts, company policies, and Federal and State payroll regulations
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and work well under tight deadlines
Additional Qualifications:
• CPP preferred
• Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or other large-scale HCM system preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $78,000.00 - 90,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
