Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Manager who will work with the Global Distribution & Fulfillment Operations team on running the day-to-day functions of global content distribution across Paramount Media Networks, MTVE, Showtime, Comedy Central, CMT, BET, VH1, Smithsonian, Nickelodeon and Awesomeness to third party licensees and owned & operated platforms!

This person will also lead content deliveries to over 1,200 partners and clients worldwide, communicating asset deliverable types, ETA's, as well as fielding rejections, redeliveries and other fulfillment-related functions. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Work closely with the localization teams on foreign language incoming delivery ETAs, as well as with metadata and marketing teams, for title data, key art and imagery to include in delivery packages delivering to third-party licensees and owned & operated platforms
• Partner with the show post-production teams ensuring final program assets are provided to third party fulfillment vendors for global distribution, ensuring client deadlines are met
• Redirect asset rejections to vendors and/or to the show-post teams when issues arise
• Handle redeliveries to clients, maintaining timing and other expectations
• Participate in the onboarding process jointly with the Multi-platform Distribution group (MPD) for new vendors and clients to Showtime and MTVE file delivery pipelines
• Collaborate with the Paramount+ Global Fulfillment Operations teams (GFO) to partner on delivery of legacy Viacom content (e.g. The Daily Show, VMAs) to global clients
• Handle fulfillment vendors project orders, tasks and priorities, tracking delivery timings, and ensuring access to servers and archival systems for media asset management purposes
• Oversee team Supervisors and Coordinators on order management processes, including fielding Material Requests in Salesforce, as well as fulfillment work order requests in Xytech
• Communicate with Paramount Global Content Distribution Commercial Operations and Deal Management (PGCD) on asset availability through Material Requests
• Track Xytech work orders entering delivery completion dates to aid licensing invoicing for Finance teams
• Manage process for DVD and Blu-Ray (BD) production for Showtime and MTVE titles slated for physical home video release, working with Paramount Home Entertainment (PHE) on timing, costs, and other strategies
• Partner with Authoring & Encoding vendors, providing project details on deliverables, deadlines, production reports, artwork, metadata, menu design, approvals, etc.
• Supervise DVD and BD QC process with A&E and third-party QC vendors of check discs, ensuring accurate functionality and playability, reporting issues and advising on fixes
• Report home entertainment production status to PHE during weekly meetings
• Assist in the process and creation of exclusive bonus features with MTVE marketing production teams
• Perform and lead tasks on departmental special projects as assigned
• Airtable and/or Smartsheet management and design
• Support in the vendor/client set-ups in Aspera/Media Shuttle management, server access, Okta verifications, and Ariba/Graphite

Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in media distribution
• Proven experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Experience in and knowledge of distribution workflows, various film, video, audio and digital formats (UHD SDR, UHD HDR-10, Dolby Vision, IMF, DCP, etc.), DVD and Blu-ray production, technical spec profiles, closed captioning and subtitle formats, various aspect ratios, QC processes, file delivery applications, etc.

Additional Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Airtable, Smartsheet, Outlook, Microsoft Office/365, Frame.io, Media Silo, Aspera, Media Shuttle, Salesforce, Xytech, etc.
• Highly organized, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ideally experience in the Media & Entertainment industry

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 - 105,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
