Overview:
The department coordinator is comfortable collaborating with a large, multi-layered organization, and works closely with many support groups within the department and elsewhere at Paramount Global. This position will report to the Vice President of Paramount+ Global Content Curation and assist the team.
In this role, the department coordinator handles the day-to-day operations of the team, including coordinating calendars, meetings, travel and expenses, and tracking freelancer contracts and timesheets. It's imperative that the department coordinator be adept at problem solving and efficiency, as they serve as the main conduit for information within the group, as well as the larger organization.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Vice President's calendar and schedule
• Book and manage all recurring meetings
• Send daily roll-call emails
• On-board new hires, ensuring smooth transition
• Coordinate work from home equipment purchases and delivery
• Process freelance/contractor contracts and timecards
• Maintain team documentation including calendars
• Book travel for team members
• Submit team and Vice President's expense reports
Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience (strong internship experience considered)
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
• Highly motivated and resourceful self-starter with excellent follow-through skills
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate and resolve administrative issues/problems without relying on senior executives' input or direction, and understanding when senior executive input/direction is appropriate and/or required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $42,000.00 - 63,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
