Job Description

The Role and What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with partners, influence key business decisions , and drive revenue growth in the exciting world of sports and entertainment:
• Lead development and support implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms for pricing optimization, sales projections, and event scheduling in high-volume entertainment venues
• Create and maintain event scoring systems to evaluate and
optimize performance of daily shows and events using tailored business logic
• Apply clustering and classification techniques to segment inventory and events, enhancing targeting and go-to-market (GTM) strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data driven solutions into operational workflows, focusing on maximizing revenue for events throughout the calendar year
• Develop predictive models to forecast demand,
optimize inventory, and identify potential revenue opportunities using venue and local market data
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure efficient data pipelines and model deployment
• Continuously monitor and evaluate model performance, providing feedback and ad justing as necessary to improve accuracy and business impact.
• Translate business problems into analytic solutions, balancing technical sophistication with practical implementation , while working closely with our Data Science team

You Have These:
• Bachelor's or Master's
or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• 4 + years of experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to solve real-world business problems, with a focus on revenue generation and inventory
optimization
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with large datasets in cloud-based environments like Snowflake
• Expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models for pricing optimization, revenue management, demand forecasting, timed entry and event segmentation
• Experience with time series analysis and forecasting techniques
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and balancing high-priority projects

We'd Love If You Also Have These:
• Experience in the sports, entertainment, hospitality, attraction, casino, or event management industries
• Familiarity with revenue management systems and dynamic pricing models
• Knowledge of advanced optimization techniques and their application in business settings
• Experience with MLOps and deploying models in production environments
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Publications or presentations at data science conferences
