Job Description
Position Summary: The Manager Host City, Account Services for FIFA World Cup 26TM will be responsible for executing a strategic service plan to maximize revenue from hospitality packages, and premium experiences. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in sports sales/service, exceptional networking abilities, and a proven track record of providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring the highest level of service for Host City's commercial hospitality journey. This includes preparing necessary sales materials and correspondence, fulfilling package requirements, and overseeing the onsite delivery of the Affiliate Hospitality Program.
• Maintain continuous communication with Host Cities to manage expectations, gather feedback, and address any specific requests or concerns. Build and sustain strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Identify and engage Host Cities through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams.
• Prepare regular reports on service KPI performance and market trends for senior management.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years in advanced Event, Hospitality, or Program Management Skills: Proven ability to manage large-scale events and complex programs, ideally within a sports or significant public international event context.
• Strong Relationship and Stakeholder Management Abilities: Skilled in nurturing relationships and providing customer service with high-value corporate sponsors and adept at balancing multiple stakeholder needs.
• Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and implement innovative hospitality solutions that differentiate the sponsor experience and deliver added value.
• Robust Financial Acumen: Competence in managing significant budgets and financial reporting, with a keen understanding of cost-efficiency and value creation.
• Detail Oriented: Stay organized, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, crucial for engaging with various internal and external groups, including senior executives and VIPs.
• Cultural Competence: Demonstrated ability to be inclusive and work effectively with diverse cultures and international clients, understanding and respecting cultural differences to enhance the guest experience.
The Affiliates Hospitality Program team members must bring a blend of creativity, strategic insight, and operational expertise to ensure that FIFA's corporate sponsors receive an outstanding return on their investment. These roles are essential for fostering strong sponsor relations and delivering a world-class hospitality experience at one of the globe's most celebrated sporting events, the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
