Job Description
The AP Associate - FIFA is a hands-on finance position responsible for accounting activities within this On Location division.
The position will report to the AP Global Manager – FIFA. The ideal candidate will have high volume fast paced accounts payable experience (preferably within Events or Hospitality), strong attention to detail, and solid inter-personal skills along with a desire to learn and ensure accurate payments to vendors.
Overall Responsibility
This role will be responsible for the supporting the end-to-end accounts payable process for the FIFA entities within On Location. The AP Associate will perform varied accounting, analysis, reporting, and operational activities. The individual should demonstrate flexibility and agility in adapting to changing circumstances and priorities, as required.
Key areas of responsibility
• Process invoices and payments accurately and timely
• Maintain positive vendor relationships and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Monitor vendor onboarding and maintenance
• Ensure that payments made outside of the financial system are recorded
• Communicate information regarding future payments to support cash forecasting
• Escalate overdue payments to management
• Prepare monthly expense reports to review for accuracy along with other ad hoc report generation and analysis
• Help with ap related month-end closing procedures
• Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience working with multinational companies and foreign currency
• NetSuite experience preferred
Skills and abilities
• Understanding of US GAAP and expense recognition
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Adept at using a supplier portal, a sophisticated ERP, and a banking portal as integral parts of the end-to-end AP process

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Range Minimum:
$60,406 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$75,000 annually
