Currently we have an opening for Technical Assistant I. This position will serve as support in the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department.

Job Description:
• Work closely with Chief Engineer, Assistant Engineer, and IT Manager in installing, maintaining, and documenting the IT network: Ex. workstations, servers, switches, wireless data and printers.
• Repairs and help maintain station building infrastructures.
• Assists in maintaining station vehicle fleet.
• Communicate and help coordinate equipment maintenance, end-user troubleshooting, and training with vendors/contractors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Associate degree in Electronics, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience preferred.
• Fluency in English; effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability to work extended hours, as needed.
• Physical ability to move items weighing up to fifty pounds.
