Job Description
The Role
It's an exciting time at Netflix as we continue to expand our business globally. We are revolutionizing the way people watch their favorite shows and movies, and building our own library of original Netflix content for all to enjoy. Visit our Culture Memo and Long-Term View to learn more about our unique Netflix culture and our bold goals for the future.
Core to Netflix's success is the engineering teams that build and find new innovative ways for Netflix to scale and personalize for a global audience. We're therefore looking for a Recruiter that will identify and engage top engineering talent while coaching our hiring partners to make smart recruiting and hiring decisions. In addition, you will help to build relationships with Universities as well as support with Talent Acquisition events. You will build teams that are key to the growth, success, and innovation of Netflix.
As a Talent Acquisition team, we focus on finding great talent, anticipating business needs, and coaching our hiring partners to hire successfully. We don't solely focus on metrics to determine success. Instead, we also look at the qualitative impact in the form of coaching moments, successful long-term hires, and driving a forward-thinking streamlined recruiting process. We look for people who push the status quo and enjoy spending their time finding creative ways to source and attract talent. Our culture empowers people to think outside of the box, breaking the standard ''recruiting process mold''. You will be empowered to be innovative when you think a process is inefficient and you'll have peers who do the same.
The Role
Reporting to the TA Manager, EMEA you will:
• Partner closely with cross functional teams (HR, Talent Management, Compensation and Talent Experience Operations) to ensure efficient ways of working and embrace being part of a highly collaborative environment.
• Predominantly recruiting for suitable talent across our engineering teams but also be flexible and recruit across other teams in Poland where required.
• Build excellent working relationships with the business, stakeholders, and candidates to ensure we are an employer brand of choice in the region.
• Engage and hire top talent, leveraging data and market insights to influence the recruiting strategy.
• Emphasize the value of inclusive hiring processes and building diverse teams.
• Identify talent, evaluate their technical skill set, and match it to opportunities within Netflix.
• Ensure that candidate motivations, interests, and values align with our unique culture of freedom and responsibility.
• Work directly with hiring managers, HRBPs, researchers, and coordinators throughout the recruiting life-cycle.
• Partner cross-functionally with our Inclusion Recruiting Programs partner, Talent Operations, Talent Intelligence, Compensation, Tax, Legal, Workplace, and US TA teams.
• Use your own judgment on how to best organize, prioritize, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Own multiple requisitions, and balance moving quickly while providing a great candidate experience.
• Evaluate the current hiring process and make changes to streamline and enhance the experience for candidates and hiring managers.
You
• A minimum of 8+ years experience within Talent Acquisition.
• Extensive experience hiring in Poland, ideally with a deep understanding of the CEE technical landscape.
• Experienced in technical/eng recruiting and have successfully executed candidate engagement strategies to hire high-caliber engineering talent (pipeline or niche). Challenging roles are exciting to you because you like solving complex problems.
• Diversity recruiting experience and managing inclusive hiring practices at all levels.
• Embrace the Netflix culture and our valued behaviors.
• You care deeply about your colleagues and when you hear something like ''people over process'' you don't just get excited about good business outcomes, you also think about the good people outcomes that concept can generate.
• Self-motivated and driven: accustomed to managing competing priorities, prioritizing, and meeting tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Curious: look to dig deeper beyond the surface level of a job profile by researching market trends, domain technology, and seeking out information to have a solid understanding of the business. You ask for feedback and want to grow and develop in your career.
• Communicate constructively, are transparent, and share openly with others. Offer your help when you see somebody needs it and recognize that one's success isn't somebody else's failure.
We are an equal opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity of thought and background builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, color, place of birth, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, military service status or disability status.
