The Role
This position is part of the Talent Experience and Operations (TEO) team based in Korea, which designs and runs the infrastructure and operations to deliver an outstanding employee experience throughout the full lifecycle of Netflix and Eyeline Studios employees in the local market. As an Employee Services Generalist, you'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing complex and escalated HR inquiries and cases, knowledge management, strategic projects, compliance initiatives, data analysis, and more. Your contributions will help drive the success of our HR services, ensuring that Netflix continues to deliver an exceptional experience for its employee s.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Korea-based employees across Netflix streaming & Eyeline Studios with an incredible employee experience aligned with our Culture
• Organize and facilitate new hire orientation(s) while partnering closely with our IT and Workplace services
• Identify and implement improvements across our Talent systems, tools, and workflows that result in increased efficiency
• Provide educational, operational, and administrative front-facing support with day-to-day and ad hoc requests and inquiries throughout the employee lifecycle such as onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, data management, and internal transfers
• Collaborate closely with other Employee Services Generalists in the region and our Global Talent Operations Centre in Manila & Mexico City in regard to operational efficiencies, regional learnings, and best practices
• Help employees to fully understand their benefits and partner with our Benefits team to triage and resolve claims while ensuring accurate data flows are maintained on our benefit records
• Partner with our Talent and Employment Legal department in reviewing compliance requirements and their implementation
• Work closely with the Talent team to provide operational support for local development and HR programs
• Lead or participate in theme-based projects, partnering with the Project Management team to document new processes and train delivery teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partner teams, creating and updating Ways of Working and Playbooks.
• Drive process improvement efforts by evaluating and assessing existing processes, using data-driven insights.
Experience:
• At Least 8 years of HR Operations experience in a dynamic fast-moving environment.
• Proven knowledge of employment and labor laws & compliance
• Ability to work across multiple systems, including Workday and Zendesk, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced environment with varied projects
• Creative problem solver and critical thinker who approaches work with a positive can-do attitude and thrives in ambiguity
• Excellent judgment with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex processes, projects, and initiatives
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and Korean
