The Role
Netflix is seeking a Coordinator to support the Production Management team in Thailand. This position would support slates from pre-production through delivery, working closely with the Production Management Manager, cross-functional teams within Netflix, and external partners.
A successful candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, a creative problem-solver, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail. This position requires someone who can work independently, understands the structure of budgets, and has significant experience as a Line Producer for high-end film/TV series. The individual must be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with external senior producers regarding budgets, schedules, and workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Support Production Management executives in onboarding and supporting original series productions.
• Act as a liaison between productions and internal Netflix teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
• Create, update, and maintain production resources and documents.
• Maintain internal databases for production schedules, crew, and contacts.
• Schedule, coordinate, and attend production meetings.
• Serve as the in-house production coordinator for all phases of pre-production through post-production.
• Procure and maintain lists of department heads for freelance crew.
• Research and outreach to potential filming locations and studios.
• Champion evolving technologies and incorporate them into production workflows.
• Assist with identifying and curating high-quality production staff and crew.
• Coordinate the onboarding process for production companies and freelance producers.
• Develop relationships with vendors and analyze cost efficiencies.
• Assist productions and executives in planning and coordinating travel.
• Provide translation and interpretation support as needed.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience as a Line Producer in film and series production.
• Native Thai speaker with high proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of production budgets, schedules, and paperwork.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to respond to urgent matters after hours.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite apps.
• Familiarity with Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling is beneficial but not required.
• Passion for the entertainment industry, especially scripted content.
• Willingness to travel across the region to support productions.
• Strong curiosity to learn and stay updated on production processes and equipment.
