About Talent Experience Operations and Talent Analytics:
The Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team is primarily responsible for developing the Talent operations ecosystem. The broad composition of the team includes Lifecycle operations (all workflows across the candidate, employee and contingent talent journey), Talent Analytics, Technology strategy, and Global Programs like Benefits, Mobility, Employee Health, Accessibility, etc.
People Analytics Partners work with leaders across Netflix and the Talent organization to better inform decisions around workforce, talent and org strategy with relevant data and insights. The team leverages its diverse backgrounds and an interdisciplinary approach to define the strategy, approach, and tool(s) best suited to address the question at hand.
The Role:
The People Analytics Partner serves as a critical enabler of talent-related decision-making across Netflix. In this role, the Partner will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional support teams to identify opportunities to better leverage people data and analytics across a number of dimensions, ranging from coaching and training initiatives, business intelligence and product strategy, to advanced analytics and research. In collaboration with leadership, the Partner will also define the most impactful work to prioritize and manage, all in service of driving business value and a culture of data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust and effective relationships with key stakeholders across Talent and Netflix, leveraging a highly consultative approach
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand talent-related business problems, and gather relevant data to analyze
• Strategically utilize and promote appropriate analytical methodologies in attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining qualified talent
• Interpret statistical models that explain or predict outcomes related to hiring, productivity, engagement, and retention
• Translate data and insights into meaningful insights and stories to drive strategy, action, and decision-making within Talent and across leaders across Netflix
• Utilize expertise and knowledge of the HR industry and people analytics trends to identify opportunities to address practical business challenges
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate data integrity and utility throughout the value chain and influence change where relevant
• Exercise adaptability and good judgment to support organizational agility and evolving needs
• Be a constant learner, active listener, and teacher to advance people analytics and data-informed decision-making at Netflix
Skills/Experience:
• 8+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in people analytics or similar roles
• Strong business acumen and user-centric mindset
• Demonstrable track record of stakeholder management, executive influence, and partnership
• Ease operating in a complex, cross-functional, geo-distributed organization
• Exceptional communication across technical, non-technical teams, and levels of seniority
• Comfort with project and portfolio management
• Hands-on experience and facility with:
• Databases querying and data manipulation (e.g., SQL)
• Tools for statistical and quantitative analysis and automation (e.g., R, Python)
• Business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Fluency in statistics and causal inference
• Understanding of the external people analytics landscape and trends
While we prefer that this role be located at one of our offices in Los Gatos or Los Angeles, we are open to well-qualified remote candidates.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000 - $530,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
