The Opportunity

As a company, we challenge industry norms by pushing one another to think creatively about complex questions. Our legal team is no exception. We think critically about the range of legal issues our business faces and act in a manner consistent with our freedom and responsibility culture, one marked by a bias toward action, collaborative work, candid discussions, by leaning into smart risks and taking ownership of bold decisions.

This is an opportunity to be part of an established and fast-growing media and tech company that is changing the future of entertainment around the world. The Legal team at Netflix is focused on collaborating with our business partners to innovate and find effective and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, demonstrate great initiative, an effective cross-cultural communicator, and will welcome the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. She or he will also be excited and inspired by the Netflix culture.

Responsibilities
• Filing and managing documents for litigation, regulatory investigations and inquiries.
• Reviewing commercial contracts and preparing templates for standard contracts.
• Assisting Legal team to increase its operational efficiency by updating workflow streams, maintaining cross functional alignment and facilitating communication between teams in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assisting with internal legal training, including mandatory training.
• Managing corporate chops, and supporting business stakeholders with document signature approvals and processes.
• Working with counsel and public policy team in drafting and submitting responses to various government inquiries.
• Assisting counsel with basic research work and due diligence.

Qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant experience (e.g., paralegal, contracts administrator or similar role at law firms or in-house). In-house experience at a global company would be a plus.
• Highly organized and comfortable in dealing with complex and varied tasks, including strong ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to learn new tasks and subject matters, with understanding of high confidentiality and discretion in the workplace.
• Proficiency in Google suite products (e.g., Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs and Drive) would be plus
• Professional and effective verbal and written communication in English and Korean.
