The Role

The Role:

We are seeking a program lead as part of our Global Design & Construction team based out of our Los Angeles Headquarters. This position will be responsible for end-to-end program management for enterprise projects of varying size and scope across our global footprint. This role will be responsible for developing scope, schedule and budget for multiple projects and leading a team of business partners, stakeholders and external consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects to meet the project goals while maintaining a clear line of communication with leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the organization and Netflix as a whole.

A successful candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. The ability to identify and proactively mitigate potential design, schedule, construction and budget impacts is essential. This position requires the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external team members with varying and sometimes conflicting concerns in a collaborative workflow that drives positive results for the project and the company. This is a demanding and fast-paced position that requires someone who is a problem solver, positive thinker and is able to exercise good judgment and communication.

Responsibilities:
• Lead a dynamic global organization that delivers complex capital projects around the world, on time and within the established budget.
• Lead & mentor your team as they work through challenges and promote an environment that encourages them to continuously excel & improve.
• Create a repeatable framework to deliver amazing workplaces around the world that aligns with the Netflix brand and its high-performing culture.
• Lead the end to end project delivery process, including budget development, programming, design & planning, construction, commissioning, move planning, and post-occupancy assessments.
• Closely align with internal stakeholders,including business process owners and colleagues across Real Estate, Workplace Operations, Workplace Planning, Employee Technology, and Security.
• Work effectively with global developers, landlords, and government agencies.
• Establish global partnerships with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide clear & frequent project updates to leaders & internal stakeholders that define project status, schedule, & risks.
• Prioritize incoming project workload across all markets and ensure resources are assigned to lead in the development & execution.
• Manage yearly CAPEX budget, provide accurate & timely forecasting, and create a multi-year CAPEX plan that aligns with overall real estate & workplace objectives.
• Leverage our global scale & purchasing power to reduce overall costs on goods and services.
• International travel will be required.

Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 12 - 15 years of experience demonstrating leadership experience in building, managing, mentoring, and inspiring a geographically dispersed team
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong business acumen
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, contracts (i.e. AIA), leases & workletters
• Able to prepare & understand project financial models & cost analysis
• Ability to make difficult decisions and influence stakeholders
• Can articulate what great looks like
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $220,000 - $570,000.
