We are currently looking for a Director to lead strategy for our Global Ads business. In this role, you will work closely with the Netflix Ads leadership team to oversee our long-term strategic decisions working closely with leaders across Sales, Operations, Measurement, Product, and other supporting functions.
We are looking for an experienced Director to join the Ads Finance & Strategy (F&S) team. This group partners with internal ads leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure the success of our business.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for driving the global ads strategy including the UCAN sales strategy helping to prioritize customer segments and growth areas
• Act as a strategic thought partner to ads team leadership and drive alignment to grow the ads business
• Partner with Finance & Strategy leaders across regions to customize market-level strategy and consolidate outcomes into a cohesive macro view of the Ads business.
• Be proactive in developing solutions for efficiency and effectively scaling the ads business and teams
• Drive highly cross-functional and complex initiatives successfully.
• Demonstrate success in hiring & building teams, and display good judgment with talent decisions such as development, promotions, and exits.
• Be deeply influential at the VP level.
• Be a highly respected leader in terms of inclusiveness; your team and those around you would describe you as caring deeply about Inclusion through your words and actions.
What we're looking for
• 12+ years of experience in strategy. Experience in advertising is required.
• Strong financial and analytical skills allowing you to lead a team to prioritize areas of focus that delivers actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills and presence with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear strategies.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple workstreams across varying disciples
• A good fit with our culture of excellence and curiosity.
• Strong people-management skills with experience leading high-performance teams.
• Demonstrated success in hiring & building teams, and displays good judgment with talent decisions such as development, promotions, and exits.

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $310,000 - $830,000.
