In this role you will support our Adult Animated Series team, who are responsible for developing and producing original animated content. A successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a small team that is growing quickly, so we need someone who can not only be great in their day to day work, but can identify opportunities to make the team more organized and efficient. Someone who is curious, demonstrates significant initiative, and inherently exercises good judgment will be most successful both in the role and at Netflix.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Content team, organizing and centralizing all creative information, including tracking and contact documents.
• Scheduling informational meetings and preparing necessary materials before and after each meeting.
• Maintaining calendars for multiple people including booking and confirming large cross-functional meetings across multiple time zones.
• Organizing and managing various internal events/off-sites/trips.
• Coordinating travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally, along with administrative duties around processing travel and expense reports.
• Working collaboratively with admins within the larger production management team and across different internal teams.
• Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and implement appropriate strategies.
• Acting as an internal liaison between team members and our cross-functional teams.
• Tracking, logging, and reviewing materials that are new submissions, current developments, and for ongoing productions.
• Ability and willingness to write script / project coverage, share creative ideas and thoughts. Confident whilst always curious!
• Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the department.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Executive/Development Assistant.
• Administrative Assistant or Production Coordinator.
• Fluent in English, French would be an advantage (not a deal breaker at all though).
• Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn how to use Netflix proprietary software
• Animation experience is not required but they need to be passionate about the medium - especially adult animated comedy. So previous working experience at a film/ TV studio is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
• Team-player who operates in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
