The Role
The FP&A Systems Strategy and Enablement team is a dynamic and integral part of Corporate FP&A. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, and intellectually curious Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a wide range of analytical tasks, contributing directly to our FP&A systems transformation roadmap. You will play a critical role in driving key initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and ensuring the successful execution of projects that enhance our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Support Finance Transformation Initiatives: Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support and drive key projects aimed at transforming and improving financial systems and processes while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Project Management Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of finance-related projects. Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with both functional and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into clear and actionable plans. Ensure alignment between project objectives and business goals.
• Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems. Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.
• Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Identify potential risks and issues related to finance projects and processes. Work proactively to develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues as they arise.
• Support Decision-Making: Provide analytical support to senior management by preparing data-driven insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
• Continuous Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to finance transformation. Apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Qualities We're Looking For
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, or related position, preferably within a finance or corporate setting.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Experience with financial planning or modeling is preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Project Management: Experience in supporting project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and PM software platforms such as Smartsheets, Airtable , JIRA etc is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate ability to collaborate with and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and senior leadership.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work outputs.
• Process Improvement Mindset: Experience in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn new concepts, systems, and tools. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
• Problem-Solving Orientation: Proven ability to think critically and creatively to address complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
• Technical Proficiency Preferred: Have worked in planning tools such as Anaplan, TM1 or Adaptive Planning.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.
