Job Description

The NBCU Local Division consists of 43 local NBC and TLMD stations and 5 Regional Sports Networks. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this key role on the NBCU Local Headquarters Finance team will support our CTO in driving high visibility technology priorities, projects, and analysis for the division. This role will work with the NBCU Local leadership team (including the CTO, and HQ/Station finance and Tech teams) and gain an in-depth view and understanding of the Local Stations business. Primary responsibilities include Local and RSN capital budget & reporting, FP&A responsibilities for Tech Ops expense budget, and free cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities
• Financial planning and reporting for the technology and operations group
• This includes quarterly forecasting, budgeting, long term strategic planning and month end close for both Capital and Operational expenses
• Summarize performance for executive level presentations
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, and provide regular reporting on financial performance, variances, and trends through KPIs
• Assist with the division's free cash flow forecast
• Partner with senior management in proposing and executing on strategic projects
• Prepare and present Technology Opex & Capex to senior management
• Complete special projects and ongoing ad hoc analysis as needed
• Provide financial modeling and analysis and be well-versed in the creation of dynamic financial models. Must be analytical and business minded. Must be able to dig into the details to analyze and understand causes of budget/actual variances.
• Partner with technology and operation teams to foster collaboration and streamline processes across the local station teams to gather information and insights for monthly pacing, estimates & budget cycles.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or Finance related fields

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the NYC office a minimum of three days per week.
