Job Description

The NBC Regional Sports Networks, part of NBCUniversal Local, deliver live coverage of more than 1,100 NBA, NHL, and MLB games annually, along with extensive news, analysis and commentary programming and original content, covering leading US markets.

The NBC Sports Regional Networks are NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports California, NBC Sports Philadelphia, and SportsNet New York (SNY).

This role serves as a key position in the NBC Regional Sports Networks financial planning and analysis function within NBCUniversal Local. This role will be responsible for assisting with all financial aspects of the business and requires understanding of accounting/finance and the ability to partner with business units, Corporate Finance, and Comcast. The Senior Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager, FP&A.

A key player in NBCUniversal's strategic and financial planning processes and their tactical implementation (LRP, Budget, monthly estimates, etc.)
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, pacing and long-range plans
• Maintain Free Cash Flow models and Partnership Cash Distribution forecasts
• Responsible for HQ day-to-day business financial management
• Responsible for submitting OCF/FCF pacing and variance into the corporate reporting system (BPC)
• Aid in the creation of executive PowerPoint presentations
• Submit monthly rolling cash forecast
• Assist with quarterly Comcast data requests
• Ad hoc variance analysis and projects
• Assist in the maintenance of BPC functions during planning and pacing cycles including mapping of accounts and profit centers

Qualifications
• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and a Windows environment, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Demonstrated system aptitude and knowledge of financial reporting software a plus (SAP & BPC)
• Solid communication skills

• Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to set and manage priorities to meet deadlines

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the NYC office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
