Job Description

This position is an entry-level role on the Universal Studios Hollywood CityWalk Shared Services team with targeted responsibility for CityWalk owned and operated Food venues with a wide range of activities supporting areas including Purchasing, Inventory, Menu and Recipe maintenance, Labor scheduling, Daily Reporting. The ideal candidate is a team player and will be successful interacting with teams across Hilltop Operations, Restaurant Management, Finance, Sourcing.

Responsibilities Include:
• Participate in inventory audits and counts, review results of inventory with Restaurant leadership and analyze results.
• Support Cycle Count Variance (CCV) Meetings with Senior Area Manager, Chefs and Restaurant Management to assist in cost control, variance resolution and shared learnings. Participate in and support EATEC training for CW Food Operations.
• Maintain and update Full Service and Quick Service menus, recipes, drinks, and offerings in EATEC.
• Compile product mix analysis and reporting for leadership when requested.
• Provide support for POS Audits, return-to-net calculations to analyze menu profitability.
• Weekly recipe review with venue Management & Culinary and reconciliation of depletion on special events.
• CW Food purchasing support including invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Food operations, including experience within restaurants as server, bartender or in restaurant management.
• Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site before and after hours to accommodate venues.
• Associate Degree or higher in Hospitality/Restaurant Management, Business Administration a plus.
• Be a positive change agent for improvements to current processes.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends if needed.

Additional Requirements:
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
