Responsibilities
The Ad Product and Integrations team owns advertising features and requirements at scale across NBCU's websites, apps, and distributed content. We are subject matter experts for existing ad products and processes, and build stories around emerging ad technology and requirements for integration into our digital footprint. We analyze the needs of the business, and collaborate with brand leads, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure premium quality, ad-supported environments are available for NBCU's viewers.
Core Responsibilities include:
• Lead and train the Ad Integrations squad efforts using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Facilitate ceremonies, collaboration, and communication
• Understand objectives, scope, stakeholders, and impacts of ad integration squad projects.
• Guide the team on self-organization, and encourage steps to a sustainable pace of work that is achieved without coercion.
• Analyze the product, tech, and QA processes and deliverables and suggest enhancements
• Remove impediments so the squad can successfully fulfill commitments
• Assist with dependency management and identifying risks to timelines
• Monitor and eliminate conflicts and blockers within squads.
• Support in grooming and maintaining project and product backlogs.
• Develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders of AP&I
• Ensure project statuses, successes, and risks are being reported to management
Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years experience on a scrum team.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Experience in digital media and/or advertising technology.
• Deep knowledge of scrum and agile practices.
• Familiarity with JIRA (or similar project management tool)
• Ability to adapt to change and identify efficiency opportunities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Energetic self-starter with a positive attitude who enjoys thinking critically to solve problems
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
