Job Description
OVERVIEW

The Programming Coordinator will support the Programming Department in building, proofing and distributing program schedules and schedule changes and helps apply unique strategies to increase viewership. This position is heavily reliant on the scheduling system, adjusting data as well as data entry. This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina reporting to Programming Manager. The coordinator can be assigned specific channels, regions and/or platforms (linear or non-linear).

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for implementing schedules (including program replacements) into programming system
• Maintain, post, and circulate all internal programming documents such as grids, monthly highlights, EPG's, etc.
• Assist in development of quarterly grids, stunts and specials as needed by Manager
• Responsible for preparing and exporting mandated documents (i.e. ENACOM grids)
• Update episodic, synopsis, and classification information within system for all programs, including translated data received from third party services. Also create excel documents in which contain the episodic and synopsis information for internal distribution
• Participate and contribute in meetings with programming and other teams to discuss content and other topics
• Communicate strategy and schedules internally
• Create weekly programming reports for assigned channels/regions and deliver to IBOPE for ratings results
• Screening and reviewing content (inventory and potential acquisitions), and provide summary of content
• Provide support to Operations department, including following up on materials delivery
• Work with Research department to obtain useful data such as ratings and results from aired programs according to time, demographics, channel and location
• To assist in special projects as needed by Manager

Qualifications

• General knowledge of entertainment, television content and movies
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment & work with tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently under general supervision
• Able to prioritize own workload
• Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Analytical approach to schedule development

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in programming, media communications or relevant field
• 2+ years' experience Media and Entertainment industries
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
• Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment
• A good team player with professional drive
• Able to cope with deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) required
