Job Description

The News Production Coordinator reports to the News Production Manager. This role is responsible for invoice processing, payments, catering requests, travel, and transportation services; as well as any other admin tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Processes, codes, and tracks vendor invoices using the corresponding budget codes
• Support News team ensuring vendor invoices accuracy using corresponding tracking chart
• Support news team with vendor payments information as needed
• Support News production manager with the preparation of monthly accrual file
• Process catering requests
• Process travel arrangements and transportation requests
• Supports News department with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Must be fully fluent in Spanish and English both written and verbal
• Experience in administrative function
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, solve problems, prioritize decisions, and successfully manage multiple assignments concurrently in a high pressure, breaking news environment
• Versed in the usage of Microsoft Office tools, at least intermediate level Excel

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization
• Proven solid writing skills
• Proven excellent interpersonal skills
• Creative and highly organized
• Ability to quickly learn how to utilize new systems

Additional Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Availability for ''on call'' weekend schedule
• Flexible schedule to adapt to 'Breaking news' work environment
• Hybrid Monday through Friday schedule with availability to work on weekends as needed
