Job Description
We are looking for a HR Director for our International Media Group businesses based in London. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, International, Networks & DTC with a dotted line to the VP Human Resources, Global Ad Sales, you will be a trusted partner collaborating closely with Executives and Leadership teams on culture, organisational design, performance, and the hiring & development of talent. Your client group will comprise of Hayu, EMEA Networks & DTC, and Global Ad Sales employees.
You will create HR programmes which enable and support the businesses strategic plans. You will be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership, advice, coaching and guidance to all business leaders and employees, delivering a first-class HR service and proactively engaging on all people related activities.

Whilst managing HR teams in the UK and Singapore, this role will also partner closely with HR Partners across the US, LATAM, APAC and EMEA regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR & Planning
• Create and lead a strategic people plan that delivers the business objectives & growth through its most important asset, it's people, with an emphasis on programmes that drive high performance and empowering cultures.
• Driving the delivery through high engagement and ownership through the leadership team regularly tracking progress and re-aligning where necessary.
• Work with the leadership team to identify and deliver organisational design programmes that support the business goals & objectives.
Leadership & Culture
• Partner with the leadership team to deliver first class human resources and employee engagement experiences.
• Analyse data on the success of the engagement activities and utilise this to drive future initiatives.
• Utilise the employee data from HRIS to inform and drive tailored employee experiences. Identify trends which can inform the People strategy and influence leadership decisions.
• Lead and manage a HR team, including HR Manager, HR Generalist and HR Coordinator in the UK and Singapore. Support their engagement, growth & development.
• Partner with ERG's and DEI teams to create programmes which drive accountability and ownership for culture and DEI to all.
• Pipeline future talent. Identify and create programmes which attract, develop, and engage current and future diverse talent.
Talent Management & Recruitment
• Own the workforce planning strategy for the business.
• Drive the talent identification, management, and succession planning of talent across the business.
• Collaborate with internal HR partners and the Talent Development team to create growth and development opportunities for our employees.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with key partners to create, deliver, and promote appropriate solutions.
• Provide coaching to employees & managers, offering feedback and advice on issues in a proactive and compassionate manner.
• When required, assist in the hiring of talent, working in partnership with the hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team.
• Oversee the delivery of all administration, process & contracts through the HR systems and team ensuring accuracy and fast execution to create a positive candidate experience.
• Ensure best in class onboarding for all talent.
Employee Relations
• Lead on complex ER cases, providing clear and directive actions to resolve situations in a timely manner.
• Provide support, advice, and guidance to your HR team on all employee relation cases where required; be aware of ongoing cases and potential escalations.
• Track and identify trends with ER cases and create strategies to avoid repeat situations and provide leaders with a toolkit to deliver changes.
• Influence managers and leaders to comply with policy and provide a fair and equitable work environment.
• Be trusted by the business to provide expert advice, coaching, and thought leadership.
• Partner with Employment Law and other internal HR partners to resolve situations.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• You will be a HR Director or similar level with experience of building trusted relationships with Executives.
• You will be able demonstrate leadership competence in driving culture change, coaching and development.
• Experience of organisational design and execution of change.
• You will have experience in managing HR within a fast-paced dynamic & creative environment across multiple geographical regions.
• Exceptional employment law knowledge and experience of managing complex change.
• You will have experience in creating and executing HR strategies along with tactical priorities.
• You must be able work independently in a fast-paced creative environment and meet tight deadlines.
• You will be able to engage, influence and develop strong relationships within a diverse business environment.
