This role reports onsite in our Los Angeles office full time.

The Role:

We are currently looking for a Contracted Producer to lead a CGI animation production from our LA office, from April 2025 - February 2027. We are looking for someone with significant experience in producing a CGI animated series for one of our IP's, looking to work with an exciting company within the world of kids media. The role will involve overseeing pre-production, production, and delivery. It is crucial that you are highly organized and able to work independently, so good time management and prioritization will be expected. This position will be working closely with the assigned creative team for the brand as well as the 3rd party studio responsible for animating the content and client liaisons. Excellent negotiation skills, budget management and cost tracking is a must.

The ideal candidate needs to be a committed and adaptable individual keen to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee pre-production, production, and delivery of the CGI animated series.
• Work closely with the assigned creative team and the third-party animation studio responsible for animating the content.
• Manage client expectations, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure the project stays on budget and on schedule, tracking costs effectively.
• Negotiate contracts, timelines, and deliverables with vendors and animation studios.
• Support the creative team in achieving their creative vision while balancing production constraints.
• Coordinate across multiple vendors and departments to ensure smooth production workflows.
• Work collaboratively with Audio, Music, and Visual Post departments in both the UK and US, accounting for time zone differences.
• Utilize FRAME iO or similar project management software for tracking production progress.

Requirements:
• Proven experience producing CGI series (essential).
• Strong technical understanding of the animation pipeline, with experience overseeing external animation studios and post-production.
• Prior experience in client interaction and presentations.
• Background in managing multiple vendors and departments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
• A strong creative appreciation and understanding of animation.
• Must be based in Los Angeles.
• Comfortable working across different time zones, with flexibility to accommodate UK-based post-production teams.
• Understanding of preschool audiences and the nuances of producing content for younger demographics.
• Basic proficiency in FRAME iO or similar project management tools.
• Strong budgeting and cost-tracking experience.
• Adaptable, motivated, and personable, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
