Overview

As part of the Player Performance department, the Coordinator – Performance Nutrition provides individual and team nutrition counseling and education to enhance the performance of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club athletes. This position will oversee all food service, catering, and nutritional recommendations at minor league affiliates in partnership with Strength and Conditioning Department. Residence in Phoenix, AZ metro area is required .

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Develops and implements a comprehensive nutrition program designed to optimize on-field performance and recovery.
• Collaborate with Player Development and High-Performance Leadership in the creation and delivery of individual player plans.
• Manages budget, purchasing, and evaluation of nutritional supplements, including herbal supplements, for legality, safety, quality, and efficacy, monitors use of appropriate supplementation in partnership with Strength and Conditioning staff.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in nutrition counseling in professional baseball. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

• Gain hands-on application of Performance Nutrition principles, program design, and nutrition education.
• Exposure to performance technologies to educate and drive performance nutrition decisions.
• Ability to work alongside all levels of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball player population.
• Work in close proximity and partnership with our performance science department, rehabilitation team, and strength and conditioning leadership group.
