The Miami Marlins Inside Sales Program is an entry-level ticket sales role aimed at equipping you with the skills necessary to advance your career in the Ticket Sales sector of professional sports. As a full-menu Membership Sales representative, your objective will be to generate ticket sales revenue across a variety of products including Memberships, groups, and premium inventory.
You will be evaluated not only on your contributions to the organization but also on your coachability, which could pave the way for a promotion to an Account Executive role.
Essential Functions:
• Sell new full season memberships, partial season memberships, group tickets and luxury suites
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals
• Meet or exceed daily activity metrics through a variety of communication channels, including outbound calls per day and face to face meeting at the ballpark, prospect location, or teleconferencing software.
• Proactively seek new leads through referrals, networking, and prospecting businesses
• Meet with prospective ticket buyers at sales prospecting events
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects with our CRM system
• Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and at games
• The candidate should possess a positive team-first attitude, as well as the competitive drive to be the best and drive revenue.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Results-oriented and competitive approach to the sales process.
• Strong work ethic and a clear desire to build a career in Sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
