Job Description
The Miami Marlins Creative Services team is looking for an enthusiastic, multifaceted and experienced Creative Project Manager. Reporting directly to the Sr. Creative Director and working closely with the Marketing team and cross-functional leaders throughout the organization, the Creative Project Manager will oversee project resourcing and prioritization for the Miami Marlins creative team and manage creative deliverables on all projects from start to finish - including but not limited to digital, video, print and social media.
Essential Functions:
• Collaborate with Marketing and other stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and creative requirements
• Work closely with internal creative team: graphic designers, video producers, copywriters, photographers and animators
• Set project timelines and work schedules for creative services team
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure clear communication and collaboration among team members
• Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines
• Work with internal stakeholders to prioritize and re-prioritize projects, constantly weighing business needs against bandwidth
• Work closely with other departments to understand projects goals and quality control briefs for the creative services team
• Ensure that deliverables meet project objectives and stakeholder expectations
• Act as the primary point of contact for project updates and status reports
• Communicate project progress, milestones, and potential issues to Sr. Creative Director
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and workflows
• Implement best practices and tools to enhance project efficiency and productivity
• Seek opportunities to innovate and streamline creative project management across the organization as a whole
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience as a Creative Project Manager or Producer
• Problem-solving abilities in a creative capacity
• Flexible and efficient
• Can adapt to a fast-paced environment with a bias towards finding solutions to challenging problems
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
• Able to self-manage while finding opportunities to collaborate with other department leads
• Able to successfully manage multiple complex and high-profile projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, dependable, and accountable to themselves and the organization
