The Business Analytics Manager will be responsible for supporting the Business Analytics team's effort to propel data-driven decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, business intelligence and data engineering. Your responsibilities will require developing consumer insights, conducting trend analyses, maintaining Tableau dashboards, and building ETL pipelines. Ultimately, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support the company's goals – from data gathering to reporting and visualization. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with internal partners and performing ad hoc performance reports.
Essential Functions:
• Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and automated reporting that communicate KPIs and other business metrics to stakeholders
• Analyze trends related to sales pacing, customer retention, local market trends, marketing campaigns performance and loyalty to develop recommendations for business strategy and marketing effectiveness
• Oversee the collection, storage and integration of data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency of data
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand their analytics needs and provide solutions to streamline their processes and drive business outcomes
• Collaborate with CRM Coordinator on back-end Salesforce development
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Director, Business Analytics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in statistics, marketing analytics, data analytics and/or business analytics
• Proven analytical skills including the ability to rapidly learn new data tools
• Strong analytical skills, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Salesforce, particularly on back-end development
• Experience with visualization software such as Tableau / Power BI
• Experience working in sports and/or in the live entertainment industry is a plus
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
• Bachelors degree in quantitative field (economics, statistics, computer science, or data analytics) preferred
