MediaLink is seeking a VP Strategic Advisory in our London office.

This role is crucial to ensure we deliver against those goals, whilst bringing our Globally renowned capabilities to help EMEA clients drive sustained growth.

The individual will be engaging with clients across the portfolio of MediaLink EMEA, in collaboration with our EVP & Managing Director of EMEA, VP of Strategic Advisory, and Director of Business Strategy & Marketing. You will be a key part of our EMEA leadership team, with the accountability for the strategic approach to delivering on our clients' need to learn, grow and transform, across media, entertainment, marketing and technology.

What You Will Do
• Deliver high-quality strategic projects that deliver real value for clients and help us grow our reputation in EMEA
• Work with a team of Directors, Analysts and Consultants based in London and the USA, to deliver brilliant strategic work and enhance client relationships
• Deliver strategic work that identifies clear gap analysis and growth opportunities for clients
• End-to-end development and execution of the optimal go-to-market strategy for clients, ensuring the narrative and messaging balance growth and competitive dynamics
• Develop marketing programs and annual plans that help companies break through the clutter and create moments that matter across paid, earned, and owned channels
• Create and grow our clients' retail media revenue streams through business plan development, product development, pricing strategy, and go-to-market messaging
• Provide oversight to ensure the work that is delivered to clients continually exceeds their expectations
• Ensure work is delivered on time and to an exceptional standard
• Increase efficiency and effectiveness for all revenue-generating activities across value proposition development, customer segmentation, coverage models, incentives, customer insights & analytics and sales enablement
• Help establish a positive, energetic dynamic in EMEA team by working collaboratively with the rest of the newly created management team to provide collective leadership in the UK
• Contribute towards the effective running of the UK business and help achieve clarity around the goals and direction of the business as we grow
• Role-model our values and behaviours and create an environment in which anyone can raise issues openly, solutions can be debated and clear decisions reached and communicated
• Contribute views and ideas on maximising performance future as we enter a more hybrid WFH/WFO dynamic
• Support the growth and Reputation of Strategic Advisory in EMEA
• Develop trusted relationships through education, provocation and sophistication, focussed on serving as a key points-of-contact.
• Clearly articulate how MediaLink can accelerate our clients' business faster than they could do on their own
• Support business growth opportunities with existing clients by having a deep understanding of our expertise across MediaLink
• Use your existing network, sector and/or discipline expertise, and client relationship skills to enrich the knowledge we bring to clients within MediaLink
• Work closely with EMEA Executive search team and US Strategic advisory team to cross-pollinate business opportunities

What You Will Need
• 10+ years of work experience in media, marketing, advertising, technology and ideally consulting fields
• Fluency in media / advertising / technology industry terms and trends
• MBA desirable, but not required
• Proven experience in crafting original strategic recommendations, based on clients needs
• Proven track record of turning ideas into actions
• Have experience in working across an organisation to deliver a succinct joined-up narrative
• Have a proven ability of working across a wide range of clients and company life-stages
• Be a self-starter, energised by the variety of assignments
• Love building relationships with industry leaders
• Demonstrate a naturally optimistic, creative, commercial and business development approach to all conversations
• Ability to take direction and work seamlessly with the EVP and Managing Director for EMEA as we grow MediaLink's business in the region
• This role will demand a high level of confidentiality. You will be dealing with top industry leaders, practitioners, and sensitive client information. All information will need to be treated with the strictest of confidence and under no circumstances shared without explicit permission
• Natural attention to detail and a focus on accuracy. Your ability to manage competing priorities and project management skills will play an important role in EMEA and across the global MediaLink organization. People and clients are at the very center of the business and having exceptional attention to detail, a strong client service orientation and timely follow up (with both internal and external facing stakeholders) will be imperative.
• Work with urgency. We are a fast-paced company. Those in this role will often be working toward deadlines or holding others accountable to keep to deadlines. This individual will need to operate with speed and bring others along with them to where they are headed.
• Independent self-starter, strong collaborative abilities, self- motivated, confident and able to drive both tactical tasks and longer-term strategic needs of the EVP. You must be comfortable working in a small team but be able to navigate a global and diverse organization.
• Intellectually curious and culturally aware. Quick learner that has fun learning. Able to process large amounts of information and then synthesise and communicate / present salient points to different stakeholders. Command of business dynamics is a must.
