Job Description
Position Summary

ILM's Runner Program offers genuine opportunities for development and we have a proven track record of promoting Runners into creative and production roles within the studio.

As a runner for ILM you will be helping ensure the smooth running of ILMs London building/s reporting into the Facilities Manager as well as assisting the Tech team as necessary. Our runners are key members of our support team, constantly performing to a high standard as they get to know all areas of our facility and gaining unique insight into how the entire facility works, getting to know a wide cross section of our staff and the different disciplines that make up our studio.

What you'll do:
• Providing excellent hospitality services for our client visits. Ensuring kitchen and communal areas are clean, tidy and restocked daily. Making arrangements for staff on location and organizing meals.
• Assisting facilities and tech with desk moves, preparing kit bags for shoots, fetching and carrying items and handling deliveries to external departments or 'runs' to fetch items for staff.
• Covering reception as required, answering the telephone and booking transport, handing out post and messages to colleagues. Some general administration work
• Help prepare presentation materials
• Hiring equipment, purchasing office supplies and ensuring these are kept well stocked.
• Assisting with new starter induction, undertaking some research, assisting production teams with ad-hoc duties.
• Taking an active role in helping organize social activities such as screenings and social evenings
• Act as point of contact for various building and facility related issues reporting in to the Facilities Manager
• Arranging dinner for late night staff and supporting wider team initiatives as required.
• Respond as appropriate for emergencies and urgent issues as they arise.
• VFX Artist/Production training available on passing 3month probationary period. Training to be done around above facilities responsibilities during quieter periods and on rota with other runners to ensure that the above responsibilities continue to run without delay.

What we're looking for:
• Experience of working as a PA, EA, or Production Coordinator within a fast-paced, creative industry delivering high levels of service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adept at building relationships of trust and with a strong rapport with employees at all levels
• Demonstrate high levels of self organization, particularly during times of high workload and ambiguity
• Able to effectively manage a demanding and fluctuating workload
• Works effectively without direct supervision
• Demonstrates a positive and 'can do' attitude to work
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with key clients of the studio
• Proven ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Maintains high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when under pressure
• Customer Service experience helpful but not essential
• Knowledge of visual effects
• Able to work shifts and availability for weekend work as required
• Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
