Job Title: Coordinator, Integrated Marketing
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Manager, Integrated Marketing
Collaboration: Daily collaboration across the Integrated Marketing Team; Regular collaboration with Marketing Operations, Creative and Content, Game Operations
Team Overview: Integrated Marketing is the heartbeat of the marketing department, building seamless and connected pathways to fans to drive growth and engagement. Considering the full marketing mix with a spotlight on digital and social, the integrated marketing team is responsible for developing and executing detailed marketing plans, derived from Brand Strategy with support from Marketing Operations. As fan and channel experts, Integrated Marketing understands and implements the best ways to connect with fans based on campaign objectives.
Position Summary: The Coordinator of Integrated Marketing is responsible for supporting a wide range of domestic and international marketing initiatives that include tentpoles, seasonal milestones, culture moments and day-to-day game promotion for the Los Angeles Lakers. This role helps to build a holistic fan experience that includes a variety of marketing touch points and formats across paid, earned, and owned.
Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):
Fan Growth and Engagement
• Supports the research, planning and execution of fan growth and engagement opportunities within integrated marketing campaigns, including social, digital, out-of-home, experiential activations, print and other marketing channels
• Coordinates outreach and activation for third party collaborators, with guidance from manager and input from Comms, Strategy and Marketing Operations, to execute best-in-class fan experiences that directly connect fans to the brand
• Maintains a strong pulse on current domestic and international trends, culture, and nuances that drive fandom across the world, bringing new ideas to the Lakers table
Campaign Planning and Implementation (Domestic & International)
• Organizes and coordinates the creation of omni-channel domestic and international marketing plans for a wide variety of programming throughout the year to drive local and international fandom including for programs like preseason, NBA All-Star, Christmas Day, In the Paint, Girl Dad Night and more
• Supports research, planning and execution for specialized tactical programs including civic engagement initiatives, DEIB programming, league initiatives and more
• Works with Communications to integrate media relations plans into omni-channel marketing plans
• Partners closely with Community Relations and Communications to help coordinate integrated marketing plans, developing a holistic community story for fans and organizing marketing and promotions execution for Community events
• Supports the workstream with Global Corporate Partnerships to track and report international partners across digital and social platforms, supporting both brand awareness and performance marketing objectives
Additional Responsibilities
• Provides administrative and clerical support to team, as assigned
• Miscellaneous other tasks and special projects, as needed and assigned

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred
Previous Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in brand or project management
• Agency engagement
Technology Capabilities:
• Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
• Detail oriented, self-starter with interest to learn in a fast-paced, high-profile, dynamic environment
• Outstanding organizational skills and elevated standards of communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the team
• Knowledge and interest in international market nuances and audience
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects at varying scales with mixed deadlines
• Strong understanding of optimized digital experiences across channels and platforms
• A passion for basketball and sports business
Physical Demands: N/A
Location: El Segundo (offices M-F), downtown Los Angeles (Crypto.com arena for Lakers home games), other occasional off-site events
Travel: Up to 5% of the time
Hours: This position requires continual attention due to the perpetual nature of the NBA season; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
The pay range for this role is $25.00 to $29.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications.
