Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in one of Live Nation UK's largest and most dynamic business units. As Vice President of Operations – Urban Festivals & Touring, you will be at the forefront of shaping the success of UK and international tours, festivals, and destination events.
This role focuses on driving commercial growth, delivering operational excellence, and forging key relationships to position the business unit as the leader within our genre. You'll work closely with a talented team, overseeing everything from global tour deals and important partnerships like the Visit Malta Cup to flawless UK tour execution, standout fan experiences in Malta and key Festival properties such as Wireless. What the role includes
• Collaborate with department leadership to define and implement strategies that achieve the business unit's CM goals and drive growth across all revenue streams
• Lead all operational aspects of the business unit, ensuring team goals are clear, performance is tracked, and all operational activities are executed to the highest standard
• Manage and inspire a team of Tour Directors responsible for delivering tours end-to-end, including business planning, routing, announcing, and optimising tours to maximise profitability
• Oversee the successful execution of international touring, managing global tour deals from concept to delivery, and establishing the business unit as an expert in delivering global tour deals
• Ensure the seamless delivery of all UK tours, overseeing the entire lifecycle – from building business plans, to routing tours to delivering on the night of shows
• Lead the successful delivery of destination events in Malta, ensuring smooth operations, sales targets are met, and amazing fan experiences are achieved
• Oversee key partnerships, including the Visit Malta Cup, ensuring their success while identifying and driving opportunities for additional growth and collaboration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key music agents, managers while also building strong relationships with promoters in Europe and North America
• Support the operational and financial success of UK festivals and outdoor shows, ensuring they meet performance goals and deliver memorable fan experiences
