Tour Marketing Coordinator (Temp)
THE ROLE
Artist management firm seeking a dynamic candidate to support our tour marketing team in the rollout and promotion of live concerts and touring. The position reports to the Director of Tour Marketing, who manages the communication and marketing workflow between managers, agents, publicists, promoters and venue marketers & ticketers.
Tour Marketing sits within a cross-functional marketing team, which provides in-house capabilities such as label services, event management (experiential and activation), content (creation, production and programming), graphic design, social media, DSP relations, analytics, direct to consumer campaigns, e-commerce, merchandising, business development (licensing, promotional & sponsorship) tour marketing and VIP ticketing.
This is a temp/fixed term assignment through November 2025
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Coordinate marketing and logistics for tour announcements, pre-sales and general on-sales of concerts/tours with promoters and venues in local markets
• Optimize messaging during announce/pre-sale/on-sale across artist and promotional channels (BandsInTown/Seated)
• Traffic creative assets, marketing plans, radio promos, and ticketing needs to properly market shows
• Proof tour marketing assets, artist website and socials, venue websites and ticketing links for accuracy
• Maintain all department databases (Smartsheets/Google sheets/dropbox) to keep updated with constant changes.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Understanding of live entertainment – venue/promoter or agency experience a plus
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Inclusive, flexible, focused, diplomatic, calm and collected attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Tech savvy command of project management software (Monday/Asana), business software (Microsoft Office suite & Adobe) and cloud-based software (Google Docs/Drive, Dropbox, Box, Zoom, etc)
• Proficiency in Smartsheets, Excel & Google Sheets software
• Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently carry-out multiple tasks from start-to-finish with the aptitude to anticipate and prioritize
• Proven time management skills that meet tight deadlines
• Ability to demonstrate discretion in handling confidential data and dealing with high-level artists and industry executives
