Job Description

The Role:

Perform various functions as assigned during concerts and other events such as greeting guests, scanning tickets, answering guest questions, checking credentials, and generally helping to keep the venue safe before, after, and during the events. Most shifts available will require working nights and weekends. Part-time positions are available for experienced and inexperienced.

Job Functions:
• Provide excellent guest services by greeting, directing, and assisting guests
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide event and venue information
• Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules
• Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
• Refuse admittance to undesirable persons or persons without correct tickets or passes.
• Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity or designation, using criteria such as seating location, color, or date issued, and direct appropriately
• Directing guests to venue services and facilities
• Provide assistance with guests' special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs
• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety and order to protect the venue property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
• As designated:
• Scan guests' admission tickets
• Operate ticket scanners, printers, and other equipment as needed
• Assist guests in finding seats, and lighting the way with flashlights, if necessary.
• Settle seating disputes or help solve other guest concerns
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Manager or Supervisors

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Previous guest service experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, use of hands, lifting, and carrying 25+ lbs.
• Applicants must be able to work holidays and weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) events throughout the year.
• Shifts schedules vary, candidates must be available to work both day and night shifts.
• Candidates should be friendly, outgoing, and presentable with the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.
