Job Description
THE ROLE:
The SVP, Business Development will work closely with President of US Concerts to lead growth initiatives including acquisitions, investments, partnerhsips and venue expansion strategy. In addition, core focus will be developing new product lines and other expansion strategies for the Concert business. Leading the Concerts business development team will include pipeline management, due diligence, and assisting in oversseing the divisions activities related to various joint ventures and other strategic relationships.
This role will conduct industry, marketplace, and build/buy/partner analyses. This role will participate in other strategic finance projects and assist with board, and other stakeholder management activities.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of investment banking, private equity, or corporate development experience. Real Estate banking/private equity background a plus but not required
• Experience in mechanics of mergers and acquisitions with strong financial modeling skills and an in-depth understanding of financial statements
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to synthesize data and communicate to an appropriate level of detail for a variety of audiences (Colleagues, Executives, Board, Investors, Strategic Parties)
• Strong, proactive work ethic and ability to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Extreme attention to detail and advanced organizational skills
• Positive attitude, commitment to excellence and teamwork; able to work seamlessly with heads of functional areas across the company and around the world
• Exceptional track record of academic achievement
