The Role:

The Senior Manager, Communications will be responsible for helping manage and execute Live Nation Concerts' communications strategy nationally and locally for our touring & talent and marketing teams to help drive ticket sales and ancillary revenue. This person will be an integral part of helping artists of all scales announce and promote their tours & shows. The Senior Manager, Communications will also work collaboratively with teams across the Concerts division to strategically tell stories and help amplify & support the Concerts' business goals year-round. The Senior Manager, Communications will also support internal communications for Live Nation Concerts including division wide comms and executive & leadership specific comms.

Responsibilities:
• Support managing national and local tour press, including touring artist press initiatives as needed
• Support trade & industry press communications including touring features and success stories as well as executive facing press including power list, award submissions, interviews, statements and features on behalf of our Concerts executives
• Develop new and maintain key existing relationships with media, especially with national media as well as local media in key markets
• Manage incoming national and local media inquiries & requests including approved responses, statements and interviews on behalf of Live Nation Concerts and its regional leadership
• Draft and distribute press materials nationally and locally as needed, including press releases, tour & show alerts, pitches, artist interview schedules, talking points and more
• Pitch, secure and manage press opportunities and interviews for touring talent with national and local media as needed
• Work closely with Communications Coordinator to manage press highlights and reports as needed for touring initiatives
• Gather and create plans for national and local support with social media & celebrity influencers
• Support internal communications for the division including executive communications and keeping Concerts staff informed, in sync and engaged with current business goals, as well as events & trends inside and outside of the company by drafting executive emails, talking points, materials needed for awards, power lists & panels, supporting division townhalls and more
• Build and outline creative ideas on how to tell our Concerts business story nationally and locally
• Keep a pulse on the latest media moves, new press opportunities, and emerging media publications & platforms
• Deliver a great experience to external contacts when working with our PR & Comms team - you will represent our brand and will be our liaison internally and externally

Education, Knowledge Desired & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in communicating, pitching, and securing national media required
• Good eye for detail, writing ability, and proofreading skills
• Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations, plus travel as needed
• Ability to multitask several projects while meeting assigned deadlines
• Interested in the music business with leadership ability and strong organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as Google Drive including Google Docs, Slides and Sheets
• Understanding of social media and influencer landscape
• Previous experience using Trendkite and Muckrack a plus
