Role Description

To provide full advancing and production support to the Academy Events promoter team.

Academy Events promote in excess of 700 shows per year across the portfolio of AMG venues. Working as part of team, you will be the key contact point between artist, venue, manager, tour manager, promoter and agent to ensure that all concerned parties have all the information they need in a timely fashion to ensure the smooth running of the show. You could be ordering riders, sorting parking for a tour bus, sourcing staff and backline, or sorting work permits…. it's a varied role, working a cross a wide range of artists and no 2 days are the same!

The Academy Events Team are one the fastest growing departments in AMG, going from a team of 5 to a team of 14 within a few years and with an ever-increasing roster of exciting acts keen to work with us, there's never been a more exciting time to join.

We are a busy, close knit, friendly and supportive team who are all passionate about what we do, and we're looking for someone to hit the ground running with us to make our department an even bigger success; someone who can use initiative and take ownership of their work but is keen to work as part of a team and happy to pitch in when needed.

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Previous experience working in a production role within the music industry and previous experience repping shows would be advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of the live sector, specifically in relation to the smooth operation of shows
• Technical production knowledge advantageous
• Ability to work effectively alone, managing multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

What the role includes
• Collate all necessary paperwork in preparation for Academy Events shows, including contracts, national ad invoices, offer sheets, venue production specs, artist riders and tech plans
• Arrange local support acts with the venues as required
• Manage work permit applications where applicable
• Provide finance assistant with the required information needed to raise national advertising invoices
• Managing expectations of stakeholders
• Provide full and comprehensive advance schedule, liaising with Tour Management, suppliers and the O2 Academy venues
• Assisting the Academy Events team with the operational running of events held across the venue portfolio
• Supervise the allocation of all monies owed before and after an event including artist deposit and balance payments
