THE ROLE
Vector Management, an artist management firm is looking for a Head of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational, financial, and HR processes for Vector, a division of Live Nation. This role will serve as the primary liaison between Vector and Live Nation's centralized HR, Finance, and AP teams ensuring smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes, financial operations, vendor management, and overall business administration. This individual will play a critical role in supporting both internal teams and external artist clients, driving operational excellence across all facets of the business.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Oversee all HR-related processes including job requisitions, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and Workday system management
• Act as the primary point of contact between Vector employees and Live Nation HR for employee inquiries, benefits, and policy guidance
• Manage daily financial operations including receivables reporting, vendor payments, invoicing, and commission tracking by artist/band
• Provide monthly financial projections and commission summaries to leadership and managers
• Review and approve all expenses, including employee reimbursements, vendor invoices, artist chargebacks, and contractor payments
• Maintain strong relationships with external business management firms and artist teams to ensure timely financial reporting and payments
• Support operational needs for artists without business managers, including billing and financial tracking
• Manage contracts and compliance documentation
• Partner with Live Nation Payroll, IT, and Benefits teams for seamless execution of employee services
• Maintain financial records, artist files, and operational documentation
• Oversee general office administration including IT coordination, equipment ordering, and systems management
• Track, approve, and monitor vacation requests, holiday calendars, timesheets, and employee schedules
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years of experience in financial operations, business management, or financial operations, preferably within the music, entertainment, or agency industries
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience managing HRIS systems, preferably Workday
• Financial acumen including budget tracking, invoicing, billing, and vendor management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, artist-driven environment
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and financial tracking tools
