Summary of Position
The Assistant, WWTV Marketing will support the Executive Vice President of WWTV Marketing and Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Events. This position requires a confident, self-starting individual who will handle a variety of administrative duties in support of the daily operations in TV marketing both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support including: calendar management & scheduling, rolling calls; book travel, process expense reports and prepare correspondence
• Create and maintain effective filing systems, databases, and project trackers to ensure the Executive is knowledgeable of all priority work streams at the highest level of efficiency
• Liaise with A/P to process, manage and record payment invoices, wires, and finance-related items for WWTV Marketing vendors and purchases.
• Coordinate with teams on Lionsgate related projects and general business
• Track premiere dates, campaign launches, and other marketing materials
• Prioritize and manage project tasks; follow up on open items
• Proof and edit copy on marketing materials
• Ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
• Ability to anticipate the needs and priorities of the Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President, as well as the needs of internal projects
• Resourcefulness in finding solutions to problems
• Some working knowledge of players in the industry
• Must be self-directed, able to work independently, respond quickly, and work co-operatively in a team-oriented setting
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Clear, concise, and professional communicator, both internally and externally
• Ability to constantly multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• 1 – 2 years of agency/studio/network experience on a high-volume desk preferred
• A college degree is a plus
• Excellent computer skills, and a basic knowledge of email programs, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
