Summary of Position
Lionsgate is seeking a Manager, Worldwide Publicity to report to the Global Team Lead and Director and work closely/in direct alignment with the International PR Strategist contractor to foster and build relationships, give directives and relay campaign strategy to Int'l Press Agencies & Int'l Partners. This role will liaise between the Global Publicity and International Sales Teams on all publicity endeavors, will support the Global Team on communication with talent representatives on assigned talent across all campaigns and lead talent communications on specific titles. This role will also provide strategic direction and regular feedback to Int'l PR agency partners, aligning their efforts with Lionsgate's vision and goals.
Responsibilities
• Build relationships with int'l broadcast, print and digital media
• Support and communicate deeper understanding of Int'l Partner needs and nuances for each int'l market
• Manage and support Home Entertainment phase of film campaign along with Digital PR team
• Support Press Lead release in pitching select US domestic broadcast and print press
• Handle and negotiate all talent & filmmaker glam and styling rates for Global PR Campaign (Domestic + International PR)
• Serve as back up support to Team Assistant with global talent travel
• Help track budget for team titles and input in real-time with exact committed costs for Global PR Campaign (Domestic + Int'l PR)
• Oversee the distribution of key press breaks to our Int'l partners
• Approve Int'l Screening Requests on Deluxe Portal
• Work with Team Assistant to pull contractual obligations and share with agency for Global tour requests
• Oversee International PR Agencies including:
• Work with Int'l PR Agency to prepare blasts to distributors with opportunity details
• Int'l PR Agency to collate nominations for int'l team to review
• Work with Int'l PR agency and Team assistant on invoicing for tours and junket bill back
• Message Review and Social Embargo strategy to Int'l PR agency & Int'l Partners
• Manage the distribution of press materials, ensuring Int'l PR agency partners receive timely photos and EPK materials, in addition to breaks
• Update key, Global PR documents including schedules, budgets, film bibles, strategy documents, status reports and key dates
Qualifications and Skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines make decisions, and change course of action quickly
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously
• Effective communicator, both verbally and written
• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
• Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word / Excel, Google Suite
• Minimum four years administrative experience supporting senior management level within entertainment industry with an emphasis on Film/TV Publicity, preferably experience with international publicity
• Flexibility to travel globally and work weekends as requested; must have up-to-date travel documents
Compensation
$80,000 - $85,000
