Summary of Position
The Manager, Library & Catalog Marketing is responsible for supporting the strategic and creative development and execution of marketing campaigns for Lionsgate´s Catalog releases. With a wide library of thousands of titles, the Manager will ideate and execute releases (anniversaries, remastering, …) and promotions (price, drafting, …) to keep our catalog alive and relevant.
Responsibilities
• Creates and executes the strategy, campaign positioning, campaign briefs and budget for their titles, both for stand-alone catalog releases (title anniversaries, new to 4K) and multi-title promotions (seasonal, price, holidays, drafting).
• Ensures all trade and consumer marketing activities are aligned with the strategy and positioning, coordinating with the different cross-functional teams (Creative, PR, Digital, Media, Retail and Sales) and different vendors.
• Oversees & executes campaign timelines and materials (metadata, key art, trailer, spots, etc.)
• Works with internal teams on physical home entertainment ideation for direct-to-consumer site.
• Supports Sales with B2B materials for pitch process.
• Manages different international materials requests, routing between teams for approvals.
• Procures all approvals on marketing plans & creative elements (as needed). Coordinates talent approvals (via Publicity).
• Evaluates campaign performance during/after release, compiling best practices, tactical wins and key learnings for department education & improvement.
• Manages and coaches a Coordinator.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or similar discipline; 5 years of marketing experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 2-4 years of direct project management experience
• Excellent organization, time and project management skills; must have experience working within a fast- paced, high-volume environment and managing multiple projects and tasks to deadline. Flexible, and resourceful on short timeframes
• Can organize, clarify and communicate complex ideas quickly, succinctly and accurately
• Intellectual curiosity with an ability to turn analysis into actionable insights to guide decision making
• With a creative eye and passion for films past and present
Nice to Haves
• Passion for and deep knowledge of film and TV
• Experience in the Entertainment, theatrical, home entertainment or videogame industries
• Direct experience in HE brand marketing
• Prior management experience
Compensation
$80,000 - $85,000
