Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently seeking a Manager, Advance Research Projects to report to the Senior Vice President of Research on the Global Distribution Team. This position is responsible for working with outside vendors to leverage computer science tools to create efficiencies within the TV Distribution Division. The ideal candidate will be familiar with current computer science methods as well as a strong understanding of content distribution.
Responsibilities
• Manage relationship with outside data science vendors.
• Track and manage all advanced research projects
• Collaborate with TV Distribution departments to create new tools
• Effectively communicate complex data science processes to non-expert stakeholders
• Evaluate new data sources to determine viability and potential
• Work with data lake teams to create efficiencies in data management
• Ensure proper protocol is observed with all AI related initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
• 4-6 years of related experience preferred
• A basic understanding and comfort with computer science methods
• Familiarity with content distribution practices preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse groups
• Interest in movies, television and artificial intelligence
• Highly collaborative with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A college degree required, an emphasis social or computer science is preferred
