Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Director, International Sales Strategy & Planning to report to the VP, International Sales Strategy & Planning in the Worldwide TV Sales department. Their primary responsibilities include assisting and guiding Lionsgate's international SVOD and AVOD sales teams' negotiations from inception through deal closure, managing and projecting revenue and budget expectations, and working with various international local sales teams to drive forward theatrical Pay output deals across rights lines.

Responsibilities
• Take lead on potential market opportunities for international SVOD team, leveraging internal resources (marketing, research, etc.) to find new ways to monetize under-utilized content

• Drive management and administration of International SVOD deals, including tracking deadlines, drafting notices, and communicating information to clients

• Supervise coordinator overseeing the development and execution of all library features negotiations for SVOD team

• Lead creation and presentation of decks to upper-level management

• Drive both analysis of international theatrical output negotiations and overall process, leading internal meetings to push deals forward as they progress

• Guide ingestion of large-scale international film library acquisitions (e.g. recent eOne purchase)

• Analysis for and sales support of ongoing international SVOD negotiations

• Project future revenue by analyzing historical revenue/sales generated as well as current market conditions

• Track new theatrical releases and acquisitions for inclusion in international output deals

• Liaise with servicing and operations, delivery, rights management, accounting, and finance teams

• Track and review renewal opportunities in the SVOD market

• Ad hoc requests

Qualifications and Skills
• 5-6 years of related experience preferred

• The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment while handling competing priorities

• Experience in the Film & Television Business

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe suite, and Tableau

• A college degree with an emphasis in Business preferred
