Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently searching for an assistant to support the SVP, Television. This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative duties. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, as well as with others. They must be diplomatic, flexible, exceedingly well organized, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a busy executive.
Responsibilities
• Rolling a high volume of calls and setting meetings
• Taking notes during calls and distributing script materials
• Maintaining a busy schedule and generating/updating memos
• Acting as a professional, courteous liaison between the studio and the offices of producers, agents and internal executives
• Handling department projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
• 1 year of assistant experience at a Talent Agency or Management Company and a background in TV development, lit, programming or production are strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience preferred
• Candidate should have the ability to multi-task in an occasionally stressful environment
• Possess strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
• Proficient at MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Should have a passion for entertainment and the desire for a career in TV
