Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our successful sales department as a General Sales Manager. We are looking for an in-the-trenches and on-the-street leader to work directly with the sales team to impact business. The person we hire will be responsible for working with the sales management team and account executives to meet their client's goals as well as our internal goals. This person will oversee sales for KSWO (ABC), NSWO (MeTV), and KKTM (Telemundo), as well as KSWO Digital Media.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for sales and creating a high-performance and successful sales team
• Manage and price inventory, forecast revenue, and create sales reports
• Strong communication skills with good follow-through and work ethic
• Coach and develop current Account Executives and recruit new Account Executives Build relationships with clients and ad agencies
• Accompany team on sales calls
• Responsible for hitting yearly sales budgets
• Work across departments to meet the goals of the clients and company

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2+ years of sales management experience
• Organized with acute attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong computer skills, with experience with Wide Orbit, Matrix, and Microsoft Office products preferred
• Excellent time management
• Skilled at presenting, negotiating, closing deals, and building long-term relationships
• College Degree preferred
• Must meet the Gray Media driving requirements and have a valid driver's license
