KLFY in Lafayette, LA is looking for a Human Resources Business Administrator. The Human Resources Business Administrator will plan, direct and coordinate functions such as: Employee Relations, Employee Records, Information Management, Accounts Payable, Facilities Maintenance, Event Planning, Operations, Assisting GM/VP, Regional Business Manager & Regional HR Director. This position reports directly to the VP/GM.
• Assist VP/GM in all Employee Relations
• Maintain all employee personnel/HR files
• Administer All Employment processes: Benefits, Onboarding/Orientation, FMLA, ADA benefits and Employment Verifications
• Maintain EEO compliance reports
• Organize & Direct Quarterly Job Fair Attendance
• Coordinate & Direct University Internship Program
• Manage Worker's Compensation and Auto Insurance claims
• Prepare and submit monthly operational reports such as station corporate credit card expense reports.
• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable
• Liaise with Sr. Leadership, Corporate staff
• Discreet nature with access to critical private information is necessary
• Organize and direct station employee events
• Manage all employee/vendor/trade contracts
• Oversee station fleet and employee gas cards
• Attend/contribute to weekly Department Head Meetings
• Communicate important changes with staff via Monthly Newsletter.
• Manage Receptionist
Requirements & Skills:
• PHR or SHRM-CP CERTIFICATION
• 3-5 years working in an HR role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills.
