Job Title: Coordinator of Clubhouse Operations – Quad Cities
Job Summary: Coordinator of Clubhouse Operations is responsible for the daily operations and management of the Quad Cities River Bandits clubhouse, ensuring a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment for players, coaches, and staff. This role requires adherence to strict confidentiality regarding team operations and compliance with all Minor League Baseball (MiLB) and Kansas City Royals organizational policies, including social media and prohibited substance regulations. The position involves relocation and travel with the team.
Role Travel Requirements: This role requires employment in Davenport, IA, during the baseball season. This position also requires 4-6 weeks of employment in Surprise, AZ, during each spring and fall training. The Clubhouse Manager will also travel with the team for a majority of the road games throughout the season.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Clubhouse Operations:
• Manage all operational needs of the Quad Cities River Bandits clubhouse, creating a culture of professionalism, respect, hard work, and attention to detail.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and security of the clubhouse, locker rooms, and equipment areas.
• Player and Staff Support:
• Coordinate laundry, culinary, and services for players, coaches, and staff.
• Act as a liaison between players/coaches and front office staff for addressing clubhouse-related concerns.
• Manage team equipment and ensure readiness for practices, games, and travel.
• Address player and staff needs promptly and professionally, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Logistics and Planning:
• Coordinate the movement of equipment, uniforms, and other materials between facilities in Surprise, AZ, and Davenport, IA.
• Coordinate housing and rooming assignments during the season, informing vendors of check in/check outs, and involvement in maintaining rental units.
• Assist with spring training and fall instructional league logistics, including facility preparation and service coordination.
• Participate in clubhouse improvements and upgrades in collaboration with team leadership.
• Travel Management:
• Accompany the team on road trips, ensuring smooth operations regarding equipment, lodging, and other logistics.
• Act as a point of contact for visiting teams during games at Quad Cities.
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree preferred (specialties in Logistics, Sports Management, or Business Administration are a plus).
• 3-5 years of experience in professional baseball clubhouse operations or a similar environment.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced, high-demand situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with players, coaches, front office staff, and umpires.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and basic inventory tracking software.
• Must be flexible and willing to work long hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
