What You'll Do:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Senior Media Co-ordinator who will play a vital role in helping us deliver broadcasters with a 'best-in-class' service. Reporting to the Media Manager, knowledge of ingesting footage and various archive storage systems is advantageous. At PLP, we are committed to providing you with the training and support to develop your skills and thrive.
As the Senior Media Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the management, distribution, and storage of all incoming PLP media. Working in close collaboration with our suppliers, you will ensure all PLP media is correctly stored with valid metadata/title naming convention. Your role will also involve keeping both broadcasters and suppliers up to date with all relevant information regarding our content availability.
Your dedication will ensure the timely and successful delivery of all content according to internal and broadcasters' requests.

This position is shift based and will include weekend work/12 hour days. The current working pattern is:
• Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
PLEASE NOTE: This is fixed-term contract until end of May 2025 based our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Line managing 2-3 individuals
• Management, distribution and storage of all incoming PLP media
• Management of Archive storage
• Offer a high quality service to broadcasters
• Assisting troubleshooting any broadcaster queries
• Management of internal editing/post production storage
• Liaison with all production teams, ensuring storage limitations aren't exceeded
• Day-to-day management of team duties
• Ensuring all deadlines are met
• Media deletions
• Assisting production teams with media management queries and being the first port of call for any media management troubleshooting that may be required
• Logging PLP footage
• Ingesting footage from a variety of formats
• Liaising with the IMG Media Services Area (MSA) team for any additional ingesting required
• Sending footage into long-term storage (VizOne) and deleting superfluous material already on VizOne
• Managing the PLP comps
• Ensure all PLP media is correctly stored with valid metadata / title naming convention
